memento mori redux, full canvas;

This is 22"x28" of pure dark energy. Wrought background with naphtha-dripped paint, splatters, spatters, grunge texturing and clock-face stencils. The main 1-layer stencil is done with blinding "signalweiss" Belton paint and dripped up with mineral spirit. The final stroke is big wildstyle hand-stitching across the canvas that ties this sick puppy together with thick red thread. A dab in the special sub-genre of the dark art called "memento mori", going way back to antiquity: [link]
